Home : What To Do : River Outfitters The following outfitters provide fully outfitted guided canoe and rafting trips on the Rio Grande. Trips last from a few hours to a week or more depending on which of 5 separate canyons of the Rio Grande one chooses to float. Professionally guided trips have an excellent record for safety and guest comfort. Go to River for information about the Rio Grande and the spectacular canyons for which the Big Bend is famous. A free permit is required to run the river in the National and State Parks after the standard entry fee is paid.
