Plan Your Trip What to Do Biking Trails

Biking Trails PDF Print E-mail

Mountain Bicycling has grown in popularity over the years, and it seems like every other vehicle has sprouted a pair of these high tech mechanisms. Big Bend can be a good place to ride if you know where to go.

alt Big Bend National Park has many miles of seldom used backcountry roads that are ideal for mountain bikes, but riding IS NOT ALLOWED on trails or anywhere off marked roads.

Riders preferring trails or single track should check out  Lajitas Resort, which has a well-developed biking trail that traverses the beautiful desert country near the Mesa de Anguila and Big Bend National Park.

Desert Sports offers guided mountain bike trips, bike rentals, repair and a variety of accessories and last minute necessities for bicycle trips. Roadies welcome too. Located on FM170, 5 miles west of the junction of TX 170 and TX 118. 888-989-6900 local 371-2727
